Based on the Wretched & Alone system, A Vast Expanse of Sky is a science-fantasy solo game in which you play a robotic servant known as a Guardian. You are the sole remaining inhabitant of the Cloud Keep, the ancestral seat of the Coldsworn family. Powered by magical crystals, the Keep floats high above its kingdom—and it’s up to you to repair it. You’ll explore the Keep, delve into your memories, experience new sensations—and maybe even discover what went wrong. This game lives at the intersection of Castle in the SkyA Psalm for the Wild-Built, & Stray, and is perfect for anyone who (like me) just freakin' loves robots.

To play, you will need: a 6-sided die; a deck of standard playing cards with the jokers removed; a tumbling block tower; 10 small tokens; and a way to keep a log. (If you don’t have a tumbling block tower, there are alternatives!)

Thank you so much for checking this out! That's...a very good question, haha. I'm actually planning to overhaul it quite significantly, so it would be really helpful to hear if there's anything from this version that you like and think I should keep! If you have any thoughts on that, I'd love it if you could respond here or email me at kaymarlowallen@gmail.com.
