the sweat & the cool

This collection of poems marks my return to writing poetry! After feeling stuck for a few years, I started writing and submitting work again in 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic. Something about having lots of time and lots of stress just got the creative juices flowing, I suppose.

In this edition of the sweat & the cool, you'll find 7 poems (A-sides) plus 2 bonus experiments (B-sides). These poems are drawn from songs I love, from my dreams, and from my memories of going down the Jersey Shore in the summer. I hope you enjoy them ♡
