& With My Anger I Will Grow

I wrote this game for myself. 

I had a shitty job where coworkers constantly misgendered me, and I started to feel like actually I was the problem: I was being too sensitive, and I had it pretty good otherwise, so I should've just learned to tamp down those feelings and not get so worked up.

And this game is to say, no!!! It shouldn't be a problem for people to treat me the way I ask to be treated. I'm not asking for too much. And actually, what I need to do with those feelings is feel them.

So, & WITH MY ANGER I WILL GROW is a one-page, single-player game that you can play during your everyday life. It's a reminder that you are allowed to feel your feelings and that anger is a powerful tool. When so much bad stuff is happening around us, it's important for us to still be there for ourselves.

To play, set up a Rage Tracker. When you feel angry, add 1 to Rage. When your Rage reaches 10, it's time for an Outburst! You'll need a six-sided die or digital dice roller to find out what shape your Outburst will take.

Game files include: the Classic Pink Edition, the colors of version 1.0; the Maximum Red Edition, in the jam colors; the Printable Edition, in grayscale so as not to use all your printer ink; and the Plaintext Edition, designed to be easier to read.
